  • Tami& #039 ;s before pic reminds me of one of mine. I looked like I was in pain and could barely breathe. Tami says this: "On the left is a picture of me almost exactly a year ago at the age of 46, feeling like I was much, much older. On the right is me today. I used to be tired, clinically depressed, and in pain all the time. I was a size 22 only because I was too stubborn to buy the 24’s I really needed. Today, after losing 130 pounds on the program with the guidance of my amazing health coach, I am energized, happy, and no longer in chronic pain. At 47, I have picked up running again, like I used to do in high school, and I’m excited to ski with my kids this winter and go on a long 5 day hike with my daughter next summer after her graduation. My jeans are also a comfortable size 8.   • It’s probably been about 2 years since I have trained in the gym regularly. If you don’t already know, about 3 years ago I got extremely ill and developed severe gut problems. A combination of over training, waaayyyy too much stress, absolutely hating MYSELF and my body (no matter how much progress I made), and trying to be someone I wasn’t created a perfect environment for my health to go in the tank. I became super negative, I was extremely burnt out on training and believed I hated it, and kind of had a “why me?” attitude. I genuinely thought at the time that I would always be sick… But that was because of the mindset that I was choosing to have!! Going through all of that was such a big, important lesson for me and I know now that the reason I was always held back from accomplishing any of my goals was literally because I had convinced myself that I wasn’t worthy of accomplishing them. Now that I have learned how to begin loving myself and my body, I couldn’t be more excited to see what the rest of my life will bring! 💪🏽😜💗💗
