    Process oriented goals are a great way to redirect your focus and increase your confidence while enjoying the fat loss process 🤪

    Try this:
    1️⃣Pick the number of workouts you PROMISE to complete this week
    2️⃣Think progress, not perfection. If you have been inconsistent recently, start with 1-2 workouts (don’t go from 0 to 7 days bc let’s be honest, that shit isn’t going to last)
    3️⃣Pick something that you KNOW you can achieve. Accomplishing the goals you set for yourself will slowly start increasing your confidence and before you know it you’ll be crushing shit you never thought possible.
    4️⃣Schedule it in (what days of the week and what time) precisely. Don’t be wishy washy- that’s just another tactic to ditch
    5️⃣Push yourself harder the next workout and the workout after that- keep trying to beat the weight, reps, or time before
    6️⃣Focus on how you feel after your workouts and journal those emotions- it’s great to look back on when you need a reminder on why you workout- bc it feels uh-mazing!

    Let’s be honest, we can’t force our bodies to do what we want them to do BUT we can take all the steps to maximize our efforts and let’s everything else fall into place 💕

  • Never would I EVER thought that I would be posting pictures with my weight plastered on them for everyone to see 😅 but #yolo ? Lolll


    Everyone has that “magic” number they would love to weigh in at. Mine was 135. That number meant I would be 10 pounds lighter, leaner and happier. Well here I am at 131, still with a little pooch, and not 100% “in love” with my body. But that’s okay, because the scale isn’t everything & I’m still on my journey. •

    You know what I am in love with? How far I’ve come, and what I have accomplished in a few short months. One of the trainers I follow to said, “it’s not about being skinny, it’s about being strong” & I felt that. Sure, being skinny is a goal that most of us have, BUT in the end it’s about how you feel. And right about now I feel vulnerable (hello judgement 🙃), yet strong and happy. What more can you ask for?


    These were my results with my 21 day challenge which actually took me about 28 days 🤷🏼‍♀️. You too can have a transformation by the New Year! You don’t have to wait until Jan 1 to start your journey!!!! Go into the holidays without worrying about how your going to feel around everyone, you can do this! •

    Today, not only did my bands stay on (MOST of the time), but I wasn’t as wobbly in one of the moves! NSV! 👊🏼

    Now, time to go to work and soak up the last few days with my kiddos before I switch schools. 😢

    When I was admitted to the hospital because I was weeks away from death, I was loaded with food. What you don’t see in this picture was the two ice creams in my fridge as well as my ensure. You also don’t see my NG tube as I was wayyy to disgusted with myself and it hurt so much that I couldn’t even get myself to take a picture. -

    This might not took like a lot of food to some, but being vegan prior to the hospital then being forced all foods no matter how much I argued and eating maybe 4-5 times the amount of food I was eating for 4 years prior, this was a lot. I was so full and bloated that they had to constantly lock my bathroom door because I attempted to get rid of the food more than once. -

    This was the longest and hardest year I’ve ever gone through, but without it I wouldn’t be who I am today. Stay strong my little wildflowers 💗💐

    I have stretch marks on my stomach, my hips, my butt, my back, my legs, and my boobs. My stomach sags still from carrying a child for 9 months. My hips are still wider than they were pre-pregnancy. I don’t “look” the way I want to some days, but man have I learned how to love the body I’m in. ⁣

    My fear in becoming a coach was knowing people were going to look at me and judge me. “She’s not super muscular. Coaches need to be super fit” or “You can’t even see her abs, she can’t be a good coach” or “She’s not SUPER SKINNY and SUPER LEAN so why should she coach me?”⁣

    Fear is a liar. YOU CAN BE WHOEVER YOU WANT TO BE. Don’t let the judgment and shame of others scare you into not living your dream. Coaching is my dream. I could listen to what society says and conform to everyone’s ideal image. But I’d rather BE ME. ⁣

  • LIGHT WEIGHTS ... they work! Always choose form over challenge because good form equates to better (and quicker!) results. Stick to 2-3 lb lighter weights for your shoulder work. If you want to increase your heavier weights for bicep and upper back work, try going up after a few months. Can’t decide?     1. Sustain your energy from meal to meal
    2. Stabilize your blood sugar
    Keep your mood steady, focused, and sharp
    So how do I know what to look out for in healthy, on-the-go snacks? 🥜 Nuts—an excellent source of high protein:
    Look for raw or dry roasted and stay away from nuts with additives like vegetable oil and salt as these can turn rancid if they sit in a bag in a store. 🍌 Fruits—packed with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants:
    Look for organic fruit like bananas packed with potassium and oranges loaded with Vitamin C

    Yogurt—high in protein and good source of healthy fats:
    Look for full-fat, organic yogurt or ones that do not contain artificial flavors or sweeteners like corn syrup. .
    Hard boiled 🥚 —high source of protein and will keep your blood sugars level:
    Boil them the night before and throw a couple in your bag. .

  • I’ve realised the reason I’m not all that great at creating #recipes is because I pay absolutely no attention to what I put in. Like this soup - I totally made it up! .
    🥣 This is a potato, leek and ham soup, topped with natural yoghurt and a drizzle of avocado oil, served with crunchy fresh wholewheat bread. .
    🥔 There is absolutely nothing unhealthy about the good ol’ white potato. Just check out @thefoodmedic, @rhitrition and @sophieshealthykitchen who have all done posts on this and actually know what they’re talking about. .
    ❤️ Boil up your potatoes (I used 6 small to medium ones). 😊 Chop up three shallots, three red chillis (we like it spicy), and fry in some olive oil. Add in three cloves of chopped garlic. ❤️ Slightly fry off two GIANT leeks - please see story - or four normal sized ones.
    😊 Add in potato water and a vegetable stock cube. Season with salt and pepper.
    ❤️ Break up a packet of ham, your pre cooked ham joint, or whatever it is you’re using. 😊 Mix in your potatoes and BLEND! ❤️ Add three tablespoons of natural yoghurt for more creaminess.
    😊 Top with extra pieces of ham, yoghurt and oil and serve with bread!

🥣 This is a potato, leek and ham soup, topped with natural yoghurt and a drizzle of avocado oil, served with crunchy fresh wholewheat bread. .
🥔 There is absolutely nothing unhealthy about the good ol’ white potato. Just check out @thefoodmedic, @rhitrition and @sophieshealthykitchen who have all done posts on this and actually know what they’re talking about. .
❤️ Boil up your potatoes (I used 6 small to medium ones). 😊 Chop up three shallots, three red chillis (we like it spicy), and fry in some olive oil. Add in three cloves of chopped garlic. ❤️ Slightly fry off two GIANT leeks - please see story - or four normal sized ones.
😊 Add in potato water and a vegetable stock cube. Season with salt and pepper.
❤️ Break up a packet of ham, your pre cooked ham joint, or whatever it is you’re using. 😊 Mix in your potatoes and BLEND! ❤️ Add three tablespoons of natural yoghurt for more creaminess.
😊 Top with extra pieces of ham, yoghurt and oil and serve with bread!

  • I thought I was past people asking me of I am pregnant....
    .
    It hurt just as much tonight as it did when I weighed 50 pounds more.
    .
    I had no quick comeback. I had no snarky remark. I& #039 ;m never mentally prepared for the shock factor. 🤦
    .
    All I felt was pure humiliation, just like every other time. All I wanted to do was run away and hide. .
    But we were in public and Merilee heard the conversation. She could tell I was upset just like the last time she was with me and someone rubbed my stomach and asked if I was pregnant.

    All I could do was walk away and hold back the tears. Except I& #039 ;m pretty sure a few got wiped away before anyone could see.

    But my body has been telling me for a while that it needs something LESS intense, because my muscles have been getting tighter and tighter, my flexibility has worsened, I’m getting back spasms from an injury a few years ago, and the only way to keep this from getting worse is to LISTEN TO MY BODY and s l o w d o w n.

    Slowing down is HARD for me 🙄 but it’s necessary sometimes!!

  • There is something so special about watching the person you love do something that they love.
    Trev loves running and he loves students so coaching a cross country team full of 50 middle schoolers is like his dream come true.
    Tonight I watched Trev wrap up his first season as a cross country coach and it was so sweet.
    I am so proud of this handsome dude and the time and effort he put into this season, but I am so dang thankful to have my husband back 🖤
