  • Fun fact: my second favorite type of fruit (watermelon being the favorite🍉) is amazing at helping with muscle recovery! All types of berries are great sources of carbs, antioxidants, and vitamins. Getting the right nutrients into the body is essential for performance to provide energy and quicken recovery times. The best time to eat berries would be within an hour before or after the workout either plain or in a smoothie🍓
