  • Praise the huji📸🤤 I only work on my legs / bum once a week really as I find I have quite dominate muscle here & it grows so quickly😬 and in all honesty I really don’t like the ‘ bulky ‘ look on myself👽, back in the day, my legs were my biggest struggle, if I didn’t have a thigh gap I felt sick and ugly, I remember telling my mum to cut my legs off because I would prefer to live without them & I remember never being able to sit down comfortably because the look of my legs on the chair would distress me so much!😢 Now I’m squatting to grow / tone them, I picture them, I dress up to show them off😮, isn’t it mad that once so daunting thoughts lead to such happy times👏🏻 I guess my point is to just keep going, keep pushing yourself, keep adventuring, you might find one day that the thing you once hated the most is now your fave thing about yourself!😜💓

    Dit jaar hebben we vier lifters in de junioren dames ploeg. Eva Maria de Langen, Katinka van Baalen, Jacqueline Klaver en Isabelle Feteris.

    Voor @emdelangen is dit haar eerste internationale wedstrijd dus een beetje extra spanning. Ze zit samen met Katinka in dezelfde gewichtsklasse-57kg. Katinka daar in tegen is een hele ervaren lifter met veel EK en WK wrdstrijden op haar naam, zowel equipped als classic.

    Voor @jacq3d wordt het de tweede wedstrijd in het buitenland. Ben heel benieuwd wat zij gaat tillen in de -72kg.

    Als laatste hebben we @isabellelifts in de -84kg klasse. Zij heeft een hele mooie positie op de nominatie lijst met meerdere medaille kansen. We gaan zien hoeveel en welke kleuren het gaan worden.

    I haven& #039 ;t been very consistent with gym lately since i have lots on my plate. But i tried to squeeze in at least 2 gym sesh a week to keep myself active.

    👆Here& #039 ;s my #legdayworkout from a week ago using the lifting belt to help me engage my core better when I am lifting. The trick is to take a deep breath, brace the abdominal muscle and then relax and exhale after you have lowered the barbell.
