Anyway here’s where things are sitting for #flexfriday now that I’m back down to 60kilossss. Can’t wait to wrap up this meet and get back to the bulk. This mini-cut has convinced me even more that it’s time to keep working on a long-term goal of gaining quality size, but everything has its time and purpose.
My plan wrt weight for this meet is to cut down aggressively from 137 (morning weight last Sunday) at the beginning of this week to ~129 by this Sunday (132 on the dot today), and then maintain for two weeks and go into weigh day a few pounds under so that I can eat through the day like normal and still make weight for evening weigh-ins. Nothing extreme, and I’m hopeful to keep performance high with sticking to maintenance eating for the last couple weeks leading up to contest. 128-129 is my most comfortable and easiest to maintain walking around weight, which is why I think this will work - I’ll just eat when I’m hungry and not stuff my face constantly 😂
I know @worthyofarmour is already on the hunt for the saltiest vegan noodz to get me comp bloated as soon as I finish weighing 😍 best wife ever

- I am finally gaining quality muscle! After 2 months of skin fold and anthopometry testing, these are my stats:
Weight: 54.0 kg (+1.8)
Abdominal: 3.8 mm skin fold (+0.1)
Thigh: 9.1 mm skin fold (+1.6)
Muscle mass: 26.0 kg (+1.0)
Adipose: (total fat cell) 12.2 kg (+0.6)
Total skin fold: 33.3 mm (+3.2)
Muscle/bone index: 3.5 (+0.1)
In summary: I’ve gained both fat and muscle mass, which is necessary for me because I am so lean (my body cannot build more muscle without enough healthy fat to accommodate.) I’m consuming ~2300 calories a day, and going to maintain this for another month while I continue strength training and add in HIIT once a week.
