    Vediamo insieme alcuni spunti su cui ci stiamo focalizzando nell’allenamento dei bicipiti : -mantenimento di una postura fisiologica con particolare attenzione all’attivazione del core per rimanere stabili ed evitare movimenti di cheating. -ricerca di un ritmo continuo,volto ad evitare slanci e momenti di inerzia,facendo coincider inspirazioni lente e profonde per tutta la durata della fase negativa degli esercizi e espirazioni più brevi e decise con la fase positiva. -utilizzo di un ampio range di ripetizioni,dalle 10-6 negli esercizi di base come il curl con bilanciere ez per arrivare fino alle 20
    negli esercizi ai cavi. -attenzione ad evitare movimenti di flessione ed estensione del polso che tendono a sottrarre tensione al muscolo target. -ultimo ma non per ordine di importanza: progressione di forza negli esercizi fondamentali per il dorso,dove il bicipite lavora in modo sinergico con i muscoli dorsali,nel nostro caso stiamo utilizzando le trazioni a presa neutra.

  • A lot of people look at me and think - “well she’s always been athletic that’s why SHE can do it” or “she’s never been that overweight...” or “she’s always been strong...” or fill in the blank... That’s why I love that @brookenfrench and I are on this journey together because we tell two completely different stories!

    Yes, I’ve always been athletic but no I haven’t always been “fit” or healthy by any means. Yes, I played sports my whole life but I also would come home and eat an entire pack of Oreos or a plate of Skyline dip (many people can attest to this) and never actually cared about my health or well-being. .
    .
    Well this caught up to me in college and honestly up until I got a Nike Fuelband in 2014. It motivated me to hit my steps...it motivated me to start running...it motivated me to run a full marathon! .
    .
    I began to change my entire lifestyle and push myself in new ways (nutrition, weight lifting, etc.) which in turn pushed me to even change my career path! .
    .
    It’s not just something I’ve always done. You may not see a huge difference between my pictures but my entire life has changed, not just my appearance. My confidence, my mindset, my view of myself, my career, my lifestyle. BUT keep in mind. This has been a process over the last FOUR YEARS! It doesn’t happen over night. .
    .
    So I made a commitment to myself. Won’t you?
