- This is by far my go to medial delt exercise post delt session
Delts are already completely exhausted, no need for any grips or handles, just grab the cable
If there’s been one thing I’ve been wanting to always have, and that’s proper rounded shoulders 🙌🏼
Notice my elbow and how I’m keeping it locked in position
This means the only movement is through the shoulder joint and therefore minimising tricep input and maximising the medial delt muscle activation 👌🏼 #toptip #deltday

- Yoooo, gotta love shattering self imposed limitations.
I looked at this list every day for the last two weeks, thinking I just couldn& #039 ;t finish my list before Halloween! I didn& #039 ;t want to come in early and wear myself out for the WOD, and I already stay after for extra work, when was I gonna find the time and strength to knock these out???
Luckily I have amazing people like @liambentley_15 to push me! He got me on the bar before class to crush my goal of 8 muscle-ups with 12! It wasn& #039 ;t long ago that I struggled with 1!
Big shout out to @thetrainstation.fit for the best programming, coaching and facility around!

- IT& #039 ;S FRIDAY 🎉 .
This is my current feelings towards ending this week of thesis writing and lots of teaching physiology and nutrition to undergraduates! .
After a week of legs, this morning was a rest/active recovery day, which meant 1k swim in the pool (oh my lord, @nuffield.health changing rooms and pool!) ready and recovered for tomorrows 1rm snacth and @theeuropeanchampionships 19.3. Followed by a wekeend of family birthday fun, seeing my bestest friend and her little mini-mes ♥ and lots of ring making! .
Happy gin & tonic day

- Time to say so long to paradise....
As we head back to reality, we are thanking Him for His awesomely beautiful creations in Hawaii, and are equally as grateful to call home in Waco a paradise (just for different reasons). We have tons of snapshots of our adventures we’ll share later. If you ever have an opportunity to visit Hawaii, do it!

Mike Molloy (@mike_m2pn), owner of M2 Performance Nutrition (@m2performancenutrition), joins us for Episode 37 of the Strength Ratio Podcast.
Mike, who has worked as a nutrition coach for nearly a decade, explains how his one-on-one coaching has evolved from writing macro prescriptions, alone, to now involving lifestyle and behavioral coaching to better address the psycho-social influences of dieting.
For example, and as citied in greater detail in the episode, Kaymen et al., discovered recently that subjects who maintained their fat loss versus those who re-gained their body fat had 30% more “available social support”.
Indeed, Mike offers macronutrient recommendations in this podcast. However, Mike takes even more time to discuss the influence of individual variation on the success of a dietary program such as the aforementioned social support, exercise frequency, type of of exercise, and one’s psychological relationship with food/history of dieting.
We hope you enjoy!
