finally posting the recipe to shrimp penne pasta thomas made a few weeks ago🍝 inspired by @giadadelaurentiis👌🏻 . || 1 lb penne pasta + 1/4 cup olive oil + 1 lb medium shrimp (peeled & deveined) + 4 cloves of garlic, minced + 1 can whole tomatoes, chopped + 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped + 1/2 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped + 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream + 1/2 cup parmesan, grated + red pepper flakes + sea salt + black pepper || 💯 . how to do it👉🏻 cook pasta in a boiling pot of water. cook for about 8-10 minutes until al dente. drain & set aside. in a skillet, heat the oil & add in the shrimp & garlic and season with sea salt & black pepper. cook until the shrimp is cooked through (about 3 min) and once cooked, take out and set aside. . to the same pan, add the tomatoes, and half the basil & parsley. cook for a couple minutes and then add in the heavy cream. bring it to a boiling and reduce the heat to simmer for about 7-8 minutes. . add half of the parmesan, the shrimp, the pasta, and the rest of the basil & parsley. toss until everything is mixed together & season with more sea salt & black pepper to taste. then sprinkle with the rest of the parmesan & serve! we paired ours with an arugula salad and some wine. enjoy!🍷

If you& #039;re not excited about eating vegetables, you& #039;re probably not eating the right sauce. Sauces are the key to making everything taste AMAZING. I like to make one or two at the beginning of the week and use & #039;em to toss together dinner or lunch in a pinch all week long. This is just some easy veggies roasted in olive oil and sea salt, topped with a Turmeric Tahini sauce I& #039;ve been playing around with 💃 (about 1/4 cup of tahini whisked with 1/2 tsp or so of powdered ginger, 1/2 tsp powdered turmeric, 1/8 teaspoon salt + more to taste, juice of 1 lemon, a pinch of cayenne, a quick drizzle of honey and a glug of olive oil, all whisked together and then thinned out with water until its a good texture for drizzling). I also have a bright green avocado and herb sauce I ADORE. Do you want the recipe for it? 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️Also, what are your favorite sauces, tell me in the comments!!👇👇

What’s going on guys?! I don’t know if you happened to view my story yesterday but since I don’t have an blog (ugh im the worst) I complied 30 of my favorite recipes and put together an eBook for you all! It’s completely free and the link is in my bio! I figured it would be easier and I really do appreciate all the support you guys give me! You really do make me feel so loved and that’s just really neat! Anyways the mess that was my breakfast today was a little yogurt bowl because it’s just so dang hot out I don’t want to eat something more hot because then I’ll sweat even more and then I’ll have to change clothes and then do laundry and then fold and put away my laundry and I just don’t want to do that so a yogurt bowl it is! I used 👉 @so_delciousunsweetened coconut yogurt, frozen berries 🍓, trail mix, @eatnuttzopower fuel crunchy, and some @thedateladysyrup! 10/10 and no sweats over here 🙌 hope you all have a great day 🤗

I constantly see people hopping on new trends on Instagram. But why? Do you actually like it? Or are you just doing it because so-in-so who has 500k followers and a six pack is. • I feel as if people think they need to be doing the same thing as someone else to see results. Well let me tell you, that’s NOT TRUE. • The only thing you NEED to be doing, is what works for YOU. I’m not saying never to try new things, but I do think sometimes people hop on bandwagons just because they believe that’s the only way to get where they want to be. • Like Macros, track them. Like KETO, do it. Love meat, then don’t force yourself into being a vegetarian. Love eating through out the day, then don’t intermittent fast. • I could go on and on, but you get the point. Don’t ever feel as if you NEED to be doing what someone else is doing. Find what YOU like and stick with it!!! • Hope you all are having the best Friday Jr😊 and I just want to say thank you for all the sweet comments on my last post! I appreciate you guys so much💗

It has to be about more than just how you look, too. Esthetic based discipline often fades. At least it did for me in the past. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Your reasons need to be health based. You need to be important enough to yourself that you protect your health. Once you realize you’re valuable; and that since you’re valuable, your health must be worth protecting...the decision to eat in a way that protects your health becomes a no brainer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I mean, yea pizza is awesome - and nothing wrong with a couple slices now and then - but shouldn’t that be the exception to the rule? Isn’t that what makes those delicious things.... delicious? The juxtaposition of pizza to the everyday turkey and peppers is why I love pizza. I don’t want to ruin that...or my health. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Balance. That’s it. Balance. Eat your pizza, eat your tacos, drink your wine, and enjoy life... just balance it. Make it the exception, not the norm, and I guarantee you’ll enjoy it that much more.
