  • This past Monday, I got the news that this ectopic pregnancy journey is FINALLY over! I found out I was pregnant at the end of May and for almost 6 long months I got my blood drawn 1-3 times a week, had many visits to the doctor, had shots of methotrexate, and an unnecessary D&C. For whatever reason, my body REALLY couldn’t seem to let go of this pregnancy. Am I bummed that in February I won’t be welcoming a baby of my own? Of course. I dealt with 6 months of trying to terminate the pregnancy instead of watching it grow. But I’m also thanking God, that I never had to hear a heart beat. In fact they NEVER even located the pregnancy. It’s in my file as “Pregnancy of unknown location”. 😂 I’m thankful that it didn’t end up being Gestational Trophoblastic Disease (cancer) and I’m thankful that I’m alive and healthy. As frustrating and strange all of this has been, I’m blessed that so far in my life, this is one of the only hardships I’ve had to go through. There are plenty of women who go through much worse. 🙏🏼 Always, always, remember to thank God in your times of pain. God didn’t make this happen to me, but he knew it would happen and he’ll use it for something good. I don’t know what the future holds, I’m of course fearful it will happen again but God reminds me to not be afraid because he is always with me. It was hard sharing my journey with all of you because it is personal but I’m hoping that any other woman who goes through something similar, will know that they aren’t alone and that this happens to the best of us. The support I’ve gotten through making this public, has been far greater than if I were to have kept it secret and suffered in silence. Aaaand that’s a wrap. Hopefully 😂 #ectopicpregnancy #suchislife #godisstillgood #whatintheworldjusthappenedtome

  • The rarest localization of ectopic pregnancy - Intramyometrial!!
This is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy that makes a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge.
The pathological definition of an intramyometrial pregnancy refers to a conceptus implanting within the myometrium (uterine muscle) and separated from both the uterine cavity and tubes as well as surrounded by myometrium.
If misdiagnosed, it can cause a uterine rupture and become life-threatening condition.
Here we got a case of intramyometrial pregnancy in twin pregnancy following IVF with spontaneous abortion of the first twin At 9 weeks of gestation. The 10 weeks scan showed a normal fetus which was described to be highly localized in the uterus but the diagnosis of intramyometrial pregnancy was not suspected. The patient was admitted at 14 weeks of gestation with pelvic pain, hemorrhage, and shock. Ultrasound showed an exocentric gestational sac with cardiac activity and suspected rupture of intramyometrial pregnancy. The patient was immediately operated. Surgical exploration showed a partial rupture of the right lateral uterine wall with a conceptus adherent to myometrium without communication with the uterine cavity. The conceptus was removed and the uterine wall closed with a 2 layers of resorbable sutures. Followup was free of complications and a postoperative hysterosalpingogram (3 months after the surgery) demonstrated no uterine parietal defect nether uterine diverticulitis. The patient had become spontaneously pregnant 11 months after the surgery and is actually at 32 weeks of gestation.

  • I found the one thing a cup of tea cannot fix.
I would do anything to have my baby back. But God gave me an amazing gift, and I know that my baby is safe with him. He gets to be with Jesus. As much as I would rather him be here with me, or me with him, God had a plan. And my baby gets to be in the most amazing place. A better place. I can’t wait until I get to see him again. Mommy loves you. Jesus will take care of you until I come home.

  • Today marks a week since the worst day of my life. You always think it will never happen to you, but it can. My baby opened his eyes and got to see Jesus first. How amazing is that?
But that doesn’t mean I don’t hurt. Or cry. I wish God could have let me have my baby here on earth, but he has another plan. I look forward to knowing what that plan is so I can move past this feeling of emptiness. #ectopicpregnancy #pregnancylossawareness

  • Today is the day that I would have gotten to see my baby, and my heart is breaking. This was supposed to be such a happy day, an early birthday present, and now it’s overshadowed by grief.
God has a plan, and no matter where I’m at, physically and emotionally, he is with me. Through him, I can hope in the midst of sorrow.

    @mehremadar .rasht
    .@mehremadar .rasht

  • Sometimes all you need is Mommy!
A million things I need to be doing....and to be honest I struggle sometimes with just being still and doing just this.
Then, I remember how long I waited to become a mother. Just when I thought it was not in God& #039 ;s plan for me, my husband comes into my life. Then, we lost a baby to me having an ectopic pregnancy and having surgery.
We were blessed though with our 2 girls and even though there may be other responsibilities and obligations pulling at me, today this is right where I need to be! ❤

If you feel inclined say a little prayer for this girl, she is sick and we are struggling with getting her to drink or eat popsicles. Pray we can keep her hydrated.
