  • Confidence & self belief is a weird thing.
    Without comparison I feel pretty good, I’m confident in my own abilities, I may not be the brightest but I’m capable.
    I might have anxiety but I’m a decent person, I’m a good mate and I’m loyal, I can crack a joke or two when I’m comfortable 🙂 I can hold my own in conversation.

    Physically ... well I feel okay 👌🏻 until of course I compare myself to a girl in a bikini who has abs & a big booty.
    Or until others compare me, unwittingly or not. I can’t help but compare myself unfavourably. I’m sad about this because i love building up other women and I feel I’m letting my ocd thoughts win.

    I am enough for me; and THAT won’t change.

  • You should focus on your strengths and make your strengths better and eliminate your weaknesses.
    I heard this the other day and while I feel that we can always improve at our weaknesses if we work really hard, I do see how this is important. I think, as Moms especially, we try to do all the things, all the time. We try to clean the house, cook dinner, do laundry, help with kids’ homework, organize the household, etc. It’s hard to be great at them all because there simply isn’t time to focus as much energy as we would like on any one thing. Same holds true in your work. It’s so important to try to focus your time and energy towards the one or two things you are amazing at. These most likely coincide with what you’re passionate about. THOSE are the things you should be doing.
    Instead of being just okay at a lot of things, try being the best at a couple. Just remember to pick the ones that make you most excited and you will set yourself up for complete success! 💕 #motivationmonday

  • I increased my weights today!
    Chest press >> 20lb to 25lb (I& #039 ;ve been wanting to increase for a long time but didn& #039 ;t have the heavier weights)

    Tricep kickbacks >> 10lb to 15lb
    (It took me so long to make that jump! I dont have 12.5lb weights so it took me longer to increase)

    I& #039 ;m so excited to be able to progress more and more in my fitness.
    For me personally, it& #039 ;s not about weight loss, it& #039 ;s about becoming stronger and feeling good for me and my family!

    What are your goals?
    I would love to help you reach them!
