Edible aromatherapy? Coconut, rose water, turmeric and saffron infused "latte" . You& #039;ll be hooked to this creamy beverage bursting with aroma, a perfect end-of-summer treat! What you& #039;ll need, 1 cup coconut or almond milk, 1/4 tsp of turmeric, 1/4 tsp of toasted and crushed saffron, 1/2 tbsp Rose water (honey or sugar to taste). Heat the milk in a saucepan and add the spices to it. Wait for it to thicken and then remove from the heat. Once it cools slightly add the rose water. You can let this cool completely in the fridge or even have it warm. Garnish with coocunut shavings and edible Rose petals. Fast samtidigt kan jag se ett mönster nu; att kvarg till frukost triggar sötsuget som sen låter Sockermonstret ta över (kryssningen med familjen)... "Bara nåt litet till kaffet" blir såklart att sötsuget triggas än mer och Sockermonstret goes bananas på barnens toblerone...och sen desserbordet på buffén...som ledde till djup blodsockerdipp där ett par rostade mackor med hallonsylt fick avsluta natten... Egentligen inga enorma mängder utslaget över en hel dag iväg, men tillräckligt för ökad värk och ångest. Lärdom 1; skippa kvarg-försöken nu mänska! Lärdom 2; kaffe under dan triggar sötsuget. Will you just look at that face! 😂 That is the face of someone who has a brand new coach who got me results in a matter of days!! Where previously I was struggling to see progress and change was coming extremely slowly. I have to say I was not expecting to see dramatic results so quickly with few (key) changes to diet and training. The drive to lead a healthy lifestyle is so much more than a number on the scales. It has taken a long time for me to realise this and to be honest, there are still days I battle with it when I feel I haven’t gotten to the weight I wanted to. My biggest addictions in life have always been chocolate, nut butter and oats. So when I put all three into this masterpiece aka my raw chocolate and almond butter cheesecake with an oat and nutty base I’d call it a win 🙌🏻 Did I mention it’s topped with delicious dark chocolate truffle balls??😳 What’s your food addiction?..🤔 . . . Recipe: 170g old fashioned gluten free oats 100g natural blanched almonds 1 cup of soft pitted medjool dates 1/4 cup of melted coconut oil 1/4 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla bean paste Add all the crust ingredients except the dates and coconut oil into the food processor and pulse until you have a fine meal. Then add the dates and pulse until a sticky mixture form in the bowl. You want to keep the dates chunky rather than a smooth paste. Press the mixture into the baking tin so it’s even at the sides. Place in the freezer to firm up while you prepare the filling.
